All
children who went to formal school have experienced a school bus trip.
Bringing the right supplies can make a lot of difference in your child’s
experience. For sure, their teacher will be providing them a list of
the essentials and it is up to you how to pack and which to add to the
list. Below are some tips that you can consider when you do the packing
for your child in order to make this experience a wonderful one.
Knowing the destination.
The specific location has something to do with the packing list. The
things to bring mainly depend on the location and the type of
activities that they will do. The school usually provides the list of
the required items that should be packed, but if they don’t, ask the
teacher prior to the trip.
Packing the essentials. Once
you have the list of the required supplies, make sure that they are
packed neatly and in an organized manner. Orient your child so that he
knows where to specifically locate his supplies. Determine whether they
need to bring a packed meal or if they will just need to bring money.
Include unused plastics on your child’s bag where he can put his
garbage.
Wearing appropriate clothes. The kind
of clothes that he would wear depends as well on the nature of the
trip. If they will go hiking or in the field, he should be wearing a
rubber shoes, shirt and comfortable pants. You should also include a
hat, sunscreen and insect repellent. If it is raining, have your child
wear a jacket.
Bringing additional supplies.
They may not be on the required supplies, but you can also include
them in your child’ s bag as long as they are not prohibited. This
includes cellular phone, iPod, camera, extra money for souvenirs,
shades, extra clothes, toiletries and first aid kit.
